easiest solution is to either run without springs, or find some slightly smaller diameter springs ,
and if the pads are binding then drill the pads our a tiny amount, like 0.1 or 0.2mm or so,
you're always gonna have to do minor mods at some point if you mix n match parts from different makers

Edited to keep it simple: Brake bolts too small, holes too big, looking for hole shrinker,LMAO.

I had a 5t 2.0 buddy, and those are closer to the center drivetrain of the 5b and Jesus man calm down

Just FYI, I did find that the 5ive 1.0 brake pad bolts are a 4.5mm size in case that helps anybody.

Thanks, I realize mixing equals adaptation, which is what makes this hobby fun. You new guys are turning this place into a dump, and I said 1 sentence about springs and then you go on to write a wall of words going all over the place with McMaster and cen. Next issue is you constantly assume something when in fact your just making up a scenario that doesn't exist and then cry about it. It's an rc forum man what do you want?

Point is break down what happend find the source to the issue that's been made here. Everybody other than you didn't get out of line or jump to conclusions, you contributed to how this conversation went. Everyone that commented prior gave you good advise and a direct solution and you chose to disregard it and now we're here. Sometimes you need to take a look at yourself and see if you are causing an issue rather than blaming the parts or tools for not doing as you want them to.
