Yup, the blue 36cc. Bought it used. I'm taking it apart atm. Seems like it's been apart before, missing stuff. I can rotate the motor about 1/4 turn back and forth. Piston face is pitted bad.

Took the motor apart, bearings look OK. I think port casting (flash) came loose and got into the cylinder. Damaged piston and cylinder. Damn made in China! ?
Maybe 2 45cc Motors, front and back ( 4WD ). ?
Not sure what caused it.

Looks like maybe the piston ring cought the port? What does the piston ring look like?

The only problem that I've heard with the rear diff is that they have wayyy to thin oil that's it, wonder what's going on

I think the Rovan engines are just hit and miss. To quote Forrest Gump, it's "like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get"
