Junkie you'll never see that bike run. I 100% promise you. Where will you get a top end kit? Who you gunna send it to when the trans blows up? What if the case needs to be repaired? Dirtbikes are a SPECIALIST repair niche end of story. I have a guy that's been in business for 40 years and is awesome with bikes. I don't think you have such a guy close to you bud....
Hey let him buy it, he lives closer enough I'll pick it up off him when he losses interest

If he has the smarts there are still a ton of parts for them, but the last year for them was 01 if I remember correctly. I think that an rm80h as it looks like it has the bigger wheels on it, wasn't really made for kids, but for bopping around the pits. Fun little gutless turds. I had a 50cc honda I wish like heck I never got rig of.
Hey junkie, does the idiot have plastics for it? Thats gonna set you back a good bit if he doesn't have them.
Pretty sure I'm closer than you sean so I'll go get it for you 😉
Well make a date out of it lol.

I’ll let you guys know… I think the guy is sleeping rn… I’ll talk to him tmrw. My biggest hope here if I go for it is you guys and YouTube lol, and maybe my uncle, he’s got real bikes (h2, diavo ect.) if I can confirm some simple stuff I may do it… yeah I can get a Chinese bike for under a thousand… but supposedly this could hit 60 and op wheelies n stuff, and it’s a name brand with parts available.

Oh yeah I get that… that was just him trynna boost the value kinda thing… I was thinking like why would u out those in that bike. The visual doesn’t mean so much to me… just want it to run good and be half reliable lol

I'll still give you $200.00 when you screw it up. Just don't blow the trans out. Then it's $50.00

Your likely gonna need to strip it down to nothing and go over everything, there's a reason he has it half apart and is getting rid of it. Believe me it's easy to dump a pile of money into old bikes. I have a 350 Yamaha Enduro coming for a full rebuild before winter sets in. Guy asked what I thought I'd get into it, told him if he was worried about price wanting a complete teardown and rebuild he should consider doing it him self, but I didn't expect to get more then $2500.00 into it. (This is assuming most the major parts are still good, ie trans, bottom end, and jug. Everything else is easy to fix) today at the shop, I was working on a 330 Polaris trail boss, bad transmission and it doesn't run right. Transmission is gonna be something like $500.00 and it needs the carb rebuilt at minimum. Possibly a new carb. $50.00 for a carb rebuild and I didn't have time to price a new carb out. Heck it took 3 hours to track down why it didn't have spark, get it to idle only to find the trans is smoked. Tread with caution.

You guys are forgetting he's got daddy's cc. He could mint that thing out if he wanted :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

All joking aside. Your outta your mind dude! You live in the freakin city and don't drive yet so you can't pull it where and when ya want. I give it a 90% chance you get this thing impounded. Plus you'll need about 1k in gear just to ride it as well..... We are coming into winter so if this is even a real consideration and not just you wanting a bike to just to have a bike then start looking for something that's not in pieces.

Myself I'm waiting til January to start really looking again. Covid prices and backed up DMV really made it hard for me this summer to justify spending.

I want a bike and this is a opportunity, one of which I doubt I will get many…if the guy has the seat and all the panels I will prob do it, but I will need to know exactly what I need. People ride dirt bikes around here without getting bothered (I live in a good neighborhood). I even got neighbors with atvs and biles n karts n stuff. Fek gear I just need a helmet

It's all about the bling junkie.... im too fat to ride supermoto's at the moment but I used to stand this female dog up with ease. Granted it was a 450 doe ....get a thumper .... you'll learn in life what's a peach and whats a half eaten apple. This bike was an 05 450 smr factory supermoto I also read that it was 1 of 15 that got imported to the us and it somehow got a street title in its life :sneaky:20180219_184239.jpg

Junkie, can you ride a bike, like properly ride a bike?
If not then stay clear of dirt bikes, especially if the only PPE your going to wear is a helmet. If your going to get a bike then FFS do it properly, seen too many people die or worse due to "I WANT A BIKE, I'M GETTING A BIKE!!" or thinking because they can ride a pushbike and had a 30second shot of a twist and go that they can ride anything.
I've come off road bikes a couple of times, had scrapes with cars and been thrown off more than one dirt bike, do it properly. We may take the p1ss out of you at times (all the time), but no one wants to see you hurt fella.

That's the safety side of it, now as above that bike is a pile, that's something you have in your garage for 10 years tinkering to get it running when you have an hour to kill here and there. That to me isn't a first bike, looks like a money pit and not something to learn bike mechanics on. Bikes are a lot more complicated than you think especially transmissions, wet clutches, clutch baskets, lots to go wrong.

Sell the Rampage, but don't trade it for that pile fella.

FaceTimed my dad abt it… got him from no chance in hell to we will talk about it more when I get home. If I get it…If I fek it up or get sick of it I’ll let Sean have it… rather give it to him for cheaper than to someone for more.

Thanks for ur concern dude… the helmet thing was a semi joke… I’ll start with one then progress, but I def won’t be all formal.

My buddy got tackled by a cop 2 winters ago pumping gas on his atv. Impounded the quad and that's way out here in bumfek suffolk. But if your set on getting one here is a MUCH BETTER option.....

My dad won’t let me just buy a bike, this is one of my VERY limited options… because it’s only a trade… and my dad gets that the rampage sux.

Ah and no I can’t ride a bike… but I’ll have to learn 🤷‍♂️
I think you should listen to your dad on this one bud.
I NEED A BIKE

Junkie, you've mentioned about your lack of storage for your RC's, where do you plan to keep the bike while you try and rebuild it?
If its anything like the UK, any dirt bike that isn't chained through a concrete block with a 1" thick hardened chain and alarmed is going to be stolen.

Seriously fella, think long and hard before you jump.

Lol it will prob be in the basement for a lil bit… but me and my dad but just my dad will be building a big temp controlled rc n stuff studio, it will be kept in there … I live in a good neighborhood but that thing will be kept chained and locked when outside… IF I get it… ive wanted a bike for a long time (like 10 yrs old)… closest I ever got was an electric razor mx350 that I had a feking blast on… now my brothers
I really do
