hello everyone im new to the forum but not to the hobby. I recently bought the losi 5ive t 2.0 and its an absolute blast! this is the first NEW rc I've bought in the past 11 years so it was time to go big! I upgraded the pipe right after break in and installed some chassis skid plates. My question is springs, the suspension works well but when ever it launches it always likes to drag on the back end. I'd like it to have a little more resistance but not too stiff.

And any other must have upgrades id like to hear some feedback. Thanks!

I got the heavy duty ones on ddm racing 14.5 front and 11 back I think. Made a noticeable difference.
I think stock is 11.6 ft and 8 rear.

Most of us have an aftermarket velocity stack/air filter setup, spare front and rear lower arms, some have had issues, nice set of tools help alot and some sort of stand to work on it is nice. Good luck and welcome.

Honestly the intake side of the equation isnt any huge noticable gain. At least not that I've ever seen. Your biggest gain will be the exhaust. Not saying the v stack wont help, just wont be that ooooo ahhhhhh, cool. When you smack the throttle.

@Jshaff ..thanks for the heads up I think I can handle it.

@Seandonato73 .I bought a ebay pipe to get in the game I know its not the best r&d but it will do for now...i run the Lucas oil so the smoke is minimal. How far can these be tuned? I'm at stock settings with an 1/8 richer on the bottom end...since I don't see smoke my brain is telling me just to leave the settings ...its got good pickup but id like to see it go faster. Pinion recommendations?

Atleast im not the only one lol....I've been running tru fuel that I mix myself. Its 20 a gallon and is ethanol free. I know a little pricey but its worth it and is guaranteed 92 octane
