ive had the same fg stock dog bones on mine for over 2 years with no trouble there cheap to replace and work well, the 990 carb is a great carb works well on mine

can't go wrong with the viscous diffs.....cant remember if i have them on all my

FG's or just 2 of them :lol::lol:

been looking at the viscous but the dream would be a oddie harm mag diff but the getting rare and very costly plus im happy with the 4 fold in the bmw that's a great diff

yes your diff on the onroad Barry is good but not made for offroad

i only went with the viscous diffs cos i ain't made of money ;)

it was ok in the off road mate only swapped it cause I could lol

and if you never spent all your money on air conditioned display cases and 20 plus large scales boats and other crap you would be made of money

forgot to add polish to the list

id better say sorry for taking the mick then I don't mess with people that own guns lol or are these display guns which will never be locked cocked or ready to rock
 
is it coming from the carb or case mate? should be a monster once sorted.ive only ever seen a couple of ts motors in fg before.is it ported?
, we see loads of fast bajas but not so many fgs apart from the guys running fullmods, oddies, evos etc. anyway its a beauty i would love to see it running once sorted, get some video pal.
on another note have you thought of what gear ratio are you using with this beastly motor? it will probably spin wheels and rev out real fast with stock ratios.
 
Yeah it is I've been ill at the moment so ant had time to look but will do tomorrow so fingers cross it just a gaset lol also will get lots of vids wen it's done. I got my rn tunning fat pipe today to so can't wait to get it all done. Hopefully the pipe will sound good too....
 
sounds great, where you getvthe r n pipe from, stopped making them years ago.i was looking for one myself 2 or 3 years ago.nice one.
 
that don't look right mate im sure like the new 4 bolt Zenoah's that have 3 bearings that should be a seal,, on my oddie 290 zen ians removed the 3rd bearing and fitted a seal

try asking atom he runs a ts in his fg monster truck
 
just googled trevor simpson reed engine and nearly everyone shows a seal there so that maybe the trouble either somebodys fitted a 3rd bearing or hasn't pressed that bearing in enough id say the best bet is get the bearings out maybe get some fast eddy ceramic ones replace the seals gaskets ect and start again on without the leak lol

hopefully its ok and no damage has been done by it sucking in crap to be honest you may have been lucky
