Ha I have a terra crusher. Very advanced for it's time, forward and reverse transmission. Pia to set up, ended up locking reverse out of mine. don't use it anymore, they used plastic u joint things, never lasted long. Should have had the night rage dog bones in it.

My brother had one it was a nice truck but motor was to small for that size truck. I think they eventually upgraded the truck to the tamiya tnx which came with a .18 engine

I have to say I'm enjoying the memories here. I was out of rc for about 9 years until 2 years ago I picked it back up and to be honest the memories of the hobby and where it took me is why I got back in

Those are cool. The nitro Tmaxx was what got me into rc. Still have my 1.5 and it went for a short bash 6 mo ago. The vintage stuff is cool.

Here's some vintage 1999...hpi super nitro. Wolf pack radicals chassis. Wolf pack big block kit with a .21 ofna engine ...sold the lot of these I had for over 1200 bucks on ebay.

I had basically the same car with a Acura Integra body that matched my race car , tore up the race pits back in the day lol

Ugg.... my vintage looks like crap compared to that. Lol. Kyosho outlaw 2wd. Raced them when I was much younger. One is more or leas for parts now.

Keep thinking about swapping one over to e word for my kids to putz around, but I just cant bring myself to do it.

Lol yeah, stock OS CZ engines in them. Ran quite well for what it was. Even has the goofy exhaust valve in it yet.

don't know what the theory was on it, but here it is, works off the carb linkage.

Hmmm very interesting....i know my 2009 yamaha r6 had a butterfly before the muffler to control back pressure?

I had a Yamaha RZ350 2 cyl 2 stroke and it had power valves similar to that , Honda did the same thing on early dirt bikes , It would change the size of the exhaust port vs throttle opening to boost low end power

Or was quite responsive for being such a small engine. I actually never thought about Yamahas exhaust valve in dirt bikes.
