Piston stop

Do piston stops work with domed Pistons or that Pistons? I've heard that if you use a piston stop on one of the tho it will punch a hole in ur piston

don't see why it would you put a wrench on crank and turn it by hand.......
Unless you the size of a brick Sh!t house don't see how you would punch a hole in your piston and even if you were that size still cant see that happening

I've used them for years on saws. Never had an issue. don't be pounding the crap out of the crank and it should be fine.

that's not the problem....its the stress u put on the bearing ...imo.............I got a few here...but never use em ......

Use a thin piece of rope and shove it down the spark plug hole. As Evvs says , it will strain the bearing with a stop but rope wont. MY OPINION ONLY!

I got a feeling we went through this a few months ago on another thread? some one got all but sore about them and posted about some for other tool.....help cant remember what it was. May be a better option for all the $ you've spent. don't want screw it up.

U talking about a clutch tool? Standard clutch tool couldn't work but I think I could rig something up ?

No wouldn't work, my clutch drum is wayy bigger and different. I could probably rig something up ? I prefer that method instead of a piston stop.

Briggs & Stratton used to make a flywheel holder. It should be easy to fabricate one the size that works for you.
