Yes. Its a 34 modded right? Your needle settings seem a little on the lean side. Usually with a modded engine you need more fuel.

Yes it's starving, sounds like it's running out of fuel

Haha it’s only ran for like 45 seconds. The low should be up by 1 5/8?

Like said above. Stock settings for a 1107 are LSN 1-3/8 and HSN 1-7/8. Start at those settings and go from there. Always richen before leaning.

So I moved it up to 1 3/8l and 1 7/8H and it ran a little better. The engine is still acting a little strange seems like it doesn’t want to stay at a steady idle. It isn’t “hunting” rather slowly increasing in rpms then decreasing until it cuts out. I’m also not getting any smoke out of the exhaust. It is 90+ degrees today which may or may not matter

Look for cracked or warped intake manifold. They can cause the same type issues. If your carb is known to be good,that might be it.

just spoke with dan from obr and realized that I installed the reed valve upside down ?‍ told you guys there was a 50% chance I fiddlesticked something up

im not too fussed about it. everything will always get sorted in the end. they are all just learning experiences with some being very expensive

nah its midnight here about to go to sleep. I think one of the screw for the valve stripped when I was installing it so that will be another mini project to flip it around. I would pay big bucks for hardened steel hardware btw.

ok guys she's running great now. reed valve and gasket were upside down ill save y'all the idling or break in videos but hope to be going out for a proper spin this Sunday

Run got cut short today. The eyelet on the camber link started ovaling out and kept popping off. Got some good footage though will edit something together tonight and share with yall
