I just bought an XCR 1000, and waiting for it to come in the mail, but in the mean time I would like to buy some 1" extenders and a set of wheels n tires for it..i really like the look of baja 5b rear wheels and tires but im wondering sould i go staggered like the 5b or rears all the way around? Or even a T wheel with a semi low pro agressive tire.. Is anyone doing this or have pics. Or any ideas at all would be helpful. And last but not least what wheel hexes are interchangeable so i can order extenders.. any help would be greatly appreciated..
The last 2 pics is exactly what im looking for but in the PL desperados.. :)

Thanks... looks like im leaning towards the 5b setup.. ill have to see more setups

The 5 b front isnt what you want. The 5b rear is closer to the right size, but the Baja wheel spacing is too far off. if your running 1 inch extenders you should be fine though. Most, if not all of us run 5t front size. It is the most common size, looks great, and is also the most cost effective. @AnubisBC gave you a good link. We were just discussing this on another thread. The XRC and dbxl are really rather close in comparison.

Thank you.. this is the info that I was looking for..and you were reffering to the 5t front size.. thats rim and tire both right? So ill be shopping for hpi 5b front wheels and tires to go all the way around.? Sorry so many questions.
.Thanks

Greatly appreciated..! Also.. are most all of the outside beadlock rings the same size?

There are a few differences as far as losi vs hpi. But as far as I know the wheel itself is the Same diameter. Just buy lock rings to fit your wheel of choice. (Idk what rcmk is comparable too)
When you get your new rig could you post up a bunch of pics? I was looking at them and glossed over in favor of my dbxl as there wasnt much support for the rcmk here in the states. They were made by the same designer so it will be interesting to see how different they are.

Got off the phone this afternoon with Brad at DDM and he's got me convinced I want a 1000 myself. Does or does it not come with servos? And what, if any parts on it have you managed to break so far Mr_rigged? He's assured me they're getting ready to place an order soon and that they've been able to get parts for this platform for the last 5 years.

Parts seem to be readily available...it dosen't come with any servos, but ill send you some part numbers this evening of what i got when i get home. I haven't broke anything yet but im not crazing bashing either..so far i love this thing..the only thing i would recommend is a higher rpm clutch.

Heres an updated pic
of course racing clutch would be better but don't think it's needed. it's just when you let off the throttle it bogs down a little until the clutch releases. If it was a higher RPM it wouldn't have that problem other than that it's great
