Hey anyone have any ideas how to de-bind the RCR brakes once applied? I have the turtle racing one piece brake mount and RCMAX brake hex. tried circular sanding the brake stems so that the pads can freely float on them however once I apply brakes it seems the pads and disks like to stay applied even if the brake cam is all the way retracted. The only way to unbind the brakes is to take a flathead screwdriver and separate them.

I was considering trying 2 things, one putting drylube on the stems and hex see if that would work which I doubt OR getting springs and putting them between the pads however I don't think that will work either. Good thing is that these meaty pads and disks work well at least

.

Most likely. I took a set of rcr pads and put them on my 5t 2.0 but I had to make the holes bigger to fit on the shouldered bolts and had to make them larger still because of that exact reason because they would hang up

didn't think of that I bet that's exactly what's happening
If the pad retaining pins are not perfectly parallel with each other you can get binding. I agree with Reps suggestion to ream or drill the pad mount holes slightly larger so the pads float on the pins smoothly. I had to do this on my Rovan caliper. My brakes were dragging and overheating . One of the caliper pad mount pins was installed crooked.
