They're noisy as hell compared to the plastic gears, but pretty bulletproof.

I run a hostile spur. Never ran steel cuz the hostile works just fine (when you don't have a cracked top plate ?). I run 19/55 on my 30.5, but I'd personally go for 20-54 because 19/55 feels under geared with my 7.5hp 30.5 and you'll have alot more power.

If I get my radio box this weekend hopefully I can run it see how it feels The power weight ratio. Then I can plan out the rest of my order for engine and drive train. Still debating on all the bling bling on the motor and drive train.

sold 3 mini e Reno’s Vxl. Now my team associated sc8 maybe next on the chopping block. If I do I will let it go as a roller. Great truck I just over powered it with a O.S. 28 xz wish it had a 2 speed to make use of all the extra power on top.Will keep motor and electronics and put on hobao vt But won’t buy that right away.
now the Arrma I wanted since release but always out of stock so I have very little interest now.
Always wanted a losi b5 but was out of my reach at the time I wanted. But with the money I made of the Revos and with the addition of the sc8 it will be in my reach. I won’t be able to fix it up right away but that would be fine. I alway make sure whatever I sell money Goes back into the hobby. Keeps the wife out of my business. looking around on the forum some of the losi 5b builds got my desire going this is torment because I have to many cars but damb that thing is sweet. Plus I don’t own any losi 1/5 plus I love kits. Decisions decisions

Fitting the kill switch got my new receiver today ,now Im up to 3 cars 1 remote. I wish I order the battery box sooner It’s only thing holding me up from taking it for a test run. Even still was 90 degrees today to damb hot out
Got one of these life battery’s never used one before. Now I have to figure out we’re to set battery. I have this Wii U kick stand see if I can mod it lick a tray to cradle body. For some lower protection since chassie has a lot of cut outs. Worth a try
Talk about thinking outside the box nice little mod and I will. i will zip tie battery to tray. When I need to remove tray all I need to do is pull out the body clips

Haven’t decided whether to do the motor yet , I’m leaning more towards picking up the losi 5b and hobao vt nitro roller. Sold the sc8 that thing sold quick. The Baja currently has a 28.5 head kit on it with CPI big bore pipe. Im starting to feel like any more power will make it hard to keep the front end down. I’m not a big fan of wheelies like to run with all 4 wheels on the ground. If I go bigger I will probably need to add some alloy to the front to keep it planted like arms and knuckles . I prefer big power on 4wd cars were it stays more planted.

Everything fitted ran it today dynamite kill switch not letting motor start had to unplug it just to get engine going when I plug it back in kills engine. I usually buy killer rc kill switch Anyone formilar with this kill switch.

I wonder if I should remove that red and black voltage clips on the kill switch.I think your supposed to remove it for LiPo i wonder if it’s the same for life batters

Sure do. Its the only one ive ever ran. So far so good. No clue on the black and red things. I still run the stock NiMh battery. Never saw a need to upgrade it since I get 3 tanks from one charge?‍
