i just went to purcahse it and yep its $20.85 shipping! there's no way im paying that!

might pop into kids room on the weekend and see if they got anything similar.

sorry for doubting you mate ;)

thats all i see to Rossco once i add in australia and my post code, i think Sohan $2.85 thats for shipping inside the usa, Expedited Shipping is not use for international shipping as its dam costly, in totaly its around 32 bucks, i payed around 19 bucks for my little merv heat sink/fan and shipping as none in australia well none cheaper that i found, the one Rossco posted up would be the best price and quickest shipping.

No biggie bud...you can make it up to me when I come down your way in a few weeks time...

not looking at the twin shane, looking at the single integy one made for the slash. i just cant justify paying $30+ for something that is only worth $10, thats just me though.

ross my door is always open to you mate, but you better hurry, if all goes to plan we arnt going to be in that house too much longer ;)

the total works out $28.95 aud delivered Sohan not to bad for a a heat sink and single fan made by a brand company including delivery from over seas.

you would pay more localy over here in w.a for that if they had one at all, you have to look at it as an over all price combined, and you had two people telling you the shipping price, i posted a link cause i thought $29 aud including delivery was good ;-)

your looking at i all wrong in my opinion, the aud is higher then the usd and look at it this way if you buy that fan from a local hobby shop, they have to add gst any import tax, there shipping price to get it here and then there mark up to the fan to make profit and cover shop running cost and mabe even post if there is none localy and you have to order it from an online aussie shop, so that fan now becomes over $30 aud easy imo.

you might even be able to get a cheaper shipping price Sohan ask for a first class mail quote if its not to big you should be able to, it will be a slower shipping method but cheaper or if thats the part you realy want buy it......

thanks for the info shane. I have contacted the seller and asked the question. worth a try.

i know local hobby shops wont stock the integy fan but they might have a cheaper alternative. i also forgot to factor in the AUD so yeah that makes it more managable.

either way ill wait till the weekend and see what the locals have, if more expensive or nothing to suit what I need ill just order online on monday.

thanks again.

got an answer back from seller, shipping charge is not negotiable, so going to wait till after the weekend before I make up my mind where to purcahse it from.

ran a couple of packs though the slash, son was crook so couldnt go around shopping for esc fans, will have to wait for the long weekend coming up.

having some problems with the rear suspension, doesn't seem to wat to rebound.

ive been told sometime the drive shafts can cause this so might have a look online to see what I can find.

i gave the whole thing a wash in CT18 and then a spray, made no difference, been told to pull them out and use a hobby knife to smooth the exterior of the male end, so might try to do this during the week sometime.

You shouldn't need to scrape them with a blade...just a good scrubbin will suffice...
Make sure they are DRY before you put them back together...

no worries, ill try some soapy water and a sponge first and see how they feel. i didnt particulary like the idea of taking a knife to them, was going to use some find sandpaper to begin with and see how it went.

started working on the slash last night, took one of the drive shafts out and gave it a good scrubbing.

now I remember why i got into large scale, such a PITA to get to the little grub screws etc, so fiddly!

should have them both done tonight, hopefully this fixes my rear suspension issues.

You can work on the smaller scales inside the house without stinking the house out with petrol though.....that's a BIG plus this time of year huh.....freeze the nuts off a brass monkey:w00t:

LOL funny you should mention working inside coz thats exactly what I did, too cold in the garage LOL. but your absolutly right, although i have worked on the FG inside before and dare say will do it again :D

finished doing the drive shafts on the slash last night, they feel better but need to give it a good track test before I know.

if this doesn't work I think I might need to try lighter oil, used 70K losi shock oil last time and I think its on the thick side.

where i am in the minus over night, since im near the bottom its cold, but i liked my losi micro,s and the mini e revo i can work on the on the coffee table while watching movies could not do that with my large scales or rc boats
