Did a bit of experimenting, here’s what will work using the stock zenoah fan cover and what I have on hand:
stock 20t pinion, all stock 20t engine mounts except for fan cover where to keep it centered I’d have to reverse one 20t mount for one hole and use a 22t on the other. Fits perfectly!View attachment 64281View attachment 64283

Yes it does look a bit lose

probably just the angle I took the shot+beveled edge of spur casting a shadow that makes the mesh look looser.

Yeah, the stock engine was a 23cc cy. I didnt have to do any mods or swaps to the g320 engine for it to fit.

That is weird. Everyone says the Zen clutch housing is 2mn "deeper" per say. And it's very possible the Zen fan cover will bolt into the dbxl because of the rear engine mount...doesn't bolt to fan cover like the l5b. Mine dropped right in but already had an aftermarket cluch housing from my l5b into dbxl

Yes the clutch housing is losi or hpi specific, but that's on the drip down menu when you order an engine.
