I'm 50/50 on them, they look decent but not awesome. John has done testing with these and they wont sell them if they are poop. if the availability is their compared to brp and they work I'm in. Their really isnt a good design that's so far indestructible, they are bringing products to the table to help people. Hell I know a bunch of people who hate brp, fact is you'll always have people who love and hate your products, what makes everyone different.

Couple of their tread patterns are basically atv tire patterns similar to what I have and they hook well.

I definitely give them credit for that. I have no doubt they will work

Axis wheels are 230 a set for just wheels and the DDM wheels are 130 a pair for just wheels and then toss in foams and tires and you are way over 300 so they seem like they would be worth it and having to replace the tires a little sooner than normal to make up for the thinner tire.

Yeah the price is very reasonable (y) it’s a66% home run the 34% is the looks and that is not so much

The facebook group is 80% positive and 20% negative.RcMax did mention that some of the tires they will be offering will make the tire look taller which will help with how they look. They also said there will be more wheel pattern options so the wheels will have different looks so that should also help a little.

Thing is they should be ? hot from the get go? here we all making excuses why they don't.......

Um What?? Sorry Doug the emojis messed up what your trying to say here . Please explain for the older crowd here thanks.

And the carbon fiber centers still don't make the wheels look any better.

I am not a carbon fiber fan of any sort.I am not defending the wheels by any means and I am not a fan of RcMax by any means and I don't dislike them.I just think the size of the tires are what ruin it for me.I would have been happy to pay another 30-50 bucks for a bit thicker tire and smaller wheel.I make some of my purchases solely on aesthetics as long as the part performs how it was meant to so the wheels are a no go for me right now but it also depends on whether or not they other tire options look any better.

My curiosity is how will the truck respond over bumps and such..the tire plays just as much of a roll as the suspension with coping with bumps. I feel that the truck will ricochet and possibly be harder to handle..and as someone else said slicks are useless without sidewalls you get no bite with no sidewall. Your gunna depend solely on the tread pattern i feel..unless the those tires look like pinhead from hell raiser idk
