Sean you called it bud had poop-aal! Todo with the ring gear turns out it was another braking issue discs got caught up on the hex its an rcmax 7075 hex so.... not sure howpics
Bit disappointing guess for now the stock hex goes back on easy fix

Well time for the steel one now cant say I've heard much good about the 7075 either, lots of binding and fitment issues.

Yeah bit of a relief ... just need to scratch through the parts bin for the stock part

Pretty simple, looks like the brake had enough room to slide off. Should have ran the plastic clip on it and that wouldn't have happened

strange it the disc walked all the way off the hex though doug, is there a right and wrong way round for the rcmax hex ?
should the shoulder be to the outside maybe ?

They are supposed to be I'm pretty sure, but I have always ran them if I had that small clip. Maybe that was machined a touch small, who knows could be several things

The original hex has a grove where the clip sits the alx and rcmac does not have the grove
