ive still got his car in my garage it took me about 4 months to fix it still aint been run since but i bet you the fiddlesticker will fire first pull on the choke and start second pull
 
now now no need for that neil plus ive got engine coming brother plus on road one will be spare it looks not that old and starts up first pull
 
ok back on with the bug,im waiting for the 29cc 4 bolt zenoah from ian oddie so ive got round to finishing off the big disc conversion for the front cables,

first i fitted a new savox servo for throttle/brakes and replaced the broken gear plate,

ive also replaced rear hydro pads and disc plus fitted a straight hydro conector to save brake pipe running so close to exhaust pipe it no runs dead straight from master to caliper,ive also removed the 23cc oddie and started striping it down to remove the red race kit as thats staying with the bug,

ive got round to fixing the diff as it was missing the parts to make it adjustable and the bug had a bad habit of unloading on just one wheel,so ive totaly rebuilt it gears were ok and the plates were to,but i had to get new case and the parts that adjust it,all in all it was one of those great jobs that gave me shite from the start,now its working exactly as fg intended and hopefully will help me put the power this things going to have plus theres the extra grip from the hostiles

still waiting on oddie order so ive been finishing off a few details i robbed the door handles off the monster energy shell thats shot to peices and the remaining wing mirror plus had little sticker fest and dubbed the bug up a tad plus made some renbar ones for the bug and bm,

alls good to go once my oddie orders here,brakes are now bigger on the front and all new disc and pads on the rear,the savox has been fitted and set up the 23cc oddie is waiting to be striped of its red race and header pipe for the victory then i can put that in the on road and strip the quick release bracket off the stock on road engine so it can be fitted to the new 29cc oddie that for the bug,then my fellow rc nuts its fun time

news from ian today engines been built and started and being run in on the dyno tommorrow then boxed up ready for me,ive been working on the touring car today but i have got the red race off the 23cc oddie ready for when the new 29 gets here.
 
engines built run in and dynoed boxed and on its way baby,so tommorrows engine fitting day plus got wire up ecu leads and as there was a delay with my order due to customs ians chucked in a lightend and balenced flywheel so thats going on the bugs old 23cc,more pics and vids coming soon
 
Excellent news!! You finishing yours should tie in nicely with me building the 4wd up next week. Should be ready to bash w/c 19th March if you up for it :cool2:
 
its been a long day got up to a box full of oddified goodies my bare tuned 29cc 4 bolt zen,a mk2 ecu,off road cutch,leads for both engines to run ecu,plus a new fan cover drilled for coil,so the day had started i got both engines ready and fitted with wires for kill switchs and ecu,by the time i had 29cc fitted in and fired up was around 2.40pm so i started it up just outside my back door and gave it a little bit of gas on the grass,which wasnt the smartest of moves as it flicked up mud and crap over me and into my front room plastering the floor and walls with mud 20 mins before wifey was due back from school run,judging by the way the bug now moves im in for a treet tomorrow

the on road was much more simple and fired up first pull on the choke and poped into life on second pull this now sounds totaly different to before again tomorrow its getting some stick im going to play with both cars with and without ecu fitted

the ecu is real nice and tiny compared to the mk1 ecu i had before,on start up it scrolls through different screens and a little car goes accros screen followed by oddified then goes through prev run times and rpms ect if you rev above 5500rpm it says renbar and current rpm is displayed its currently set on map 10 ive no idea yet what this means but 10's better than 1 but then theres 15 maps in total so plenty of tuning scope and fun to be had

watch it ran all day tomorrow just to piss on my parade

on the 23cc and the old ecu i saw it hit 21000 but that was wheels off the ground mate the most i had it up to on the mk1 ecu while bashing was 17500
