As a piece of US 1/5th scale history, this car is something of a unicorn and is actually worth something. The only problem is that no one gives two shits about that kind of stuff, and why should they? Anyone willing to pay that price will know what they're buying and will probably never run the thing, so it will never live up to its potential anyway.

I never really understood the concept of dropping that kind of money on a shelf queen, but everyone has their own perspective.

Well and true. I don't know why anyone would spend that kind of money on something that they refuse to take out and run. It makes no sense to me either. If I had the cash to grab this sucker, I'd take a lot of "before" pics so folk could see what it looked like before I ran the everloving poop out it!
 
Yep,I actually am thinking of buying for general bashing,I have 2 of this body. I sure I can fix the issues. Some modding with plastic+ filler and exterior paint job. Shipping price though,might still see if he'll come down some a little to make it worth the project cost.
