Could do two things buy all the bits and rebuild. Or I could close up the ports and store

If i had a rig that would take a reed id do just that..........
Id rather just buy all the parts and build new if i wanted a reed

Dougstar the 5ive B can take a reed case motor you just need to run the dome filter and use some silicone to seal it. I have seen a couple guys at the track run the turtle racing 5ive T air cleaner on the 5ive B and it looks pretty good on there and only a small portion needs to stick out of the body in the front. This keeps the filter inside and more protected.
