I looking at turnbuckles and steering links, what kills me is the price for this stuff. It would cost me around 300 to dress my 5ive t, is there any other company's out there that I wouldn't feel like I'm taking it in the ass???

Atop rc and Area rc are cheaper mate (y),
and tbh theres nowt wrong with there turnbuckles etc, heims are decent and there finished quite well, also usually come with all the standoffs needed,
JS do a full set for £155 or $214 in american, JS ones use dunlop heims and also come with standoffs,
i'm quoting these from rcmodelz site in uk, not sure whats available state side (y)

edit; rcmax do the same js performance full turnbuckle kit as rcmodelz for $220,
so i'd assume detroit performance will sell em as well, not sure where js performance are based though (y)

There both ebay stores but welcome walk ins. There both low on parts, but I think that's due to covid. I also have a local place I go to where I buy most of my stuff from. I bought my tamiya blackfoot there a long long time ago. I try to to help the little guy out, but when everything went RTR it's been tuff for him to keep the doors open.

I actually grew in Jersey in North Plainfield. Have quite a few relatives in central and north Jersey.

Yeah kinda nice having them close, power hobby is about a mile in a half and nitro hobbies is about 2 miles. My buddy's hobby shop is about 5 miles away. Where the hell is Calverton, is that by you.

I just might do that. I looked the place up, it looks awesome. Never had a real track to run on. Maybe see you in the spring.
