Nice i shall be going to our local Fastenings shop in the morning & get the parts & washers & hopefully short this bull out & get hold of a m6 tap & redo both shafts. The 40t shaft the loctite worked as it was a bugger to get out.

oh yes!!!! it has to be done i don't mind paying a fiver willy nilly but anything over that then it get a bit tight Specially with the gears being £ 33.97 Delivered << cheaper than nitrotek

I made a slight boo boo you need 1 Male & 1 Frmale of the M6 as the to female are like to fooking long so now i am going to order a M6 Male Doh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FFS my clutch bell shaft for the 24t gear DOSE NOT run center about 4mm play left to right Not happy

sorry mate it should of been No.25 what they did was cut one of the females down and used threaded bar to join the two females.

yeah but i am re tapping both shaft's to M6 because the of the shaft on the bell housing is shot to bits wobbly all the way down the thread

did you much up on the rethreading mate

just looked on E-bay they are all sizes but i think the FG might fit not 100% sure theres one there going for £1.04 with 22hrs left on it

As for the re-therding the clutch bell hole is not center it's about 4mm so putting the rose joint on it would only increse stress on both shafts, so i want a fg 1 as i can put that on a lathe & get the hole in the center as these are not drilled

The FG clutch-bell fit perfect, they are also much stronger.

i got confermation that my FG clutch bell is on its way just need to find some 1 with a lathe so i can drill a hole in the Center were it is ment to be unlike the one it came with.
