I'm not sure. I do have alot to think about. But again I don't see the worth of keeping on going, just to make some more power than alx for more money and time? With more maintenance and more issues? Even if I could fix that crank, there's still Gunna be many more issues and money to get it were i want it to be. Plus, I've kinda lost my patience, it's past summer, almost a year and a half since I've started and another 4 till I can get a new crank if need be, then it'll be winter, then summer rolls around, still not been durability tested and kinks worked out (that was supposed to happen this summer), which will probably take that whole summer, ect. It's a unrelistic honestly. I just want to drive a big bore at this point so selling it for parts or something and just saving a little over the winter and getting a brand new 40gt and running that all through Summer and fall makes enough sense. I don't know I'll sit on it for a bit but I don't think my mindset will change. I'm used to set backs but at some point, your Gunna get sick of it.Again, just take a step back and breathe for a minute. You've gone through quite a lot to get where you are. And we're all rooting for ya. poop's gonna get in your way, but you are so close now!
You knew the moment you got this project started that this was a pretty insane path you were taking. And as late as I arrived, I still tuned in and watched with great anticipation to see this thing come to life. We're all still cheering you on!
Threads on the crank can be repaired. It's all a part of the journey. But for now, I recommend you take a much needed breather. Take a few days off and go play some video games or go hiking, something to take your mind off this whole mess. Seriously! You're too close to the project to realize your own blind spots, and it's hurting your ability to see through the challenges.
If you really need some help on your project. Ship me your crank shaft. I have some local friends that might be able to sort out your thread issues. I can't make any promises, but I'll do what I can to get this particular mess sorted for you.
I did learn alot of things from this, such as port timing, how stroke works, bearing clearences, carb pulse, ect and learned many new skills and designed my own ingenious (if I do say so myself) ignition system, for that I appreciate this experience. Weather I complete it or not, doesn't matter, I learned alot is what I think matters the most. Maybe one day when Im more capable I will re visit this idea and build and build a whole new version that is improved in every way but for now I don't think that's gunna happen but I will continue to think about it.It's all gonna be up to you in the end. Do what you can to enjoy the hobby. If it means calling it quits on this project and moving on to another, I don't think anyone here will fault you. At least you tried!
I'd much rather see you here running a G320 and still being a part of the forum than burning out entirely.
I'm Gunna loose either way, continuing I'm Gunna spend/loose more money, selling it i know i won't get the whole 2k back but i should atleast get some decent money. I'm not sure of this crank can even be fixed, the threads are very far goneWow not on for a whole day and the poop hits the fan! Your gonna loose you arse parting that thing out. I agree with the breather/get an engine to toss in for now. The crank is a relatively easy fix. Just more time and money (in your case)

It very much is ?It's a sad end my friend. I understand.
Lol. Yeah looking forward to what's next. It is sad that it's not gunna be finished and make my 22hp that i wanted tho.I see it's so true. You even changed your avatar? O well, on to bigger and better Z?? And thanks for the tripod??. Next time mount the phone horizontal.??
