@Whoduh dose look a bit short....silicone tube on the end will fix that!
now the battery, was surfing the net and saw somewhere .....cant remember where this guy used pins bolts no heads. so he had put pins were the bolts go and used Velcro straps round the battery box. put the lid on locate it tighten the velcro. wanna put a lipo in and a fire in the box with the pipe on well its not ideal. the pipe is not easy to tighten coz of the way the header sits so won`t wanna be taking it on/off. ill have to trim the body round the pull start opening but it no big deal

hello so iv had a go with the spray cans. just a practice run coz there will be no going back
didn't think it was all bad for my first try

don't mind the bit of tape i didnt take off on the right and have decided i need white to back the green
after i sprayed the back round green went darker than i wanted. see so those annoying food containers/lids
from the deli counter do have other uses
ill certainly try a few more time before i commit to painting the body

got the tire glue out mmmm lets just say wont be getting an A on this one

i think im gonna get some beadlocks

didnt turn out too terrible in the end i like the TLR wheel nuts

Tires were probably done that way to save weight....no inner/outer beadlocks....no beadlock screws...etc = less rotating mass.

no doubt that why the did it just hell man never had to before! don't like things where you only get one chance if you know what i mean.

while im waiting to get my servos lipo ect. thought id do a little DIY.
found some old ally junk that was taking up space in the outside shed and set to work

made a template out of old cardboard biscuit box the grinder and a square

wheel off to size her up

my high-tech spray booth

thought mat black would do the job

ounce they were dry thought it looked pretty cool

they have i bend in them so they sit nicely under the lower arms

didnt want to drill the arms so made the holes 5mm and used cable ties

a view with the tire back on

finished up by mounting the wing. hope you enjoyed my MOD

been putting this off kinda wish it came pre painted. i have no idea how this turn out!
putting the window mask on the sides a test of patients

the first two colors

had to stop there got called away
ill do some more when i get the chance

so i finished my paint job...... just gonna put it out there its no master piece (hemistorm the master!)
but i think it will do just fine for the newbie

sad story had to trim my body the end of the bart pipe was touching

put a piece of radiator hose on the end to get it clear the chassis

Rear tire looks like it covers most of what you cut...shouldn't really be seen.

yes it is not sticking out beyond the tire lucky enough. now just to cut the other side to match
also cutting $129 body feels just wrong!
