I try to avoid using red thread locker anywhere possible just because of the extra work of applying heat to remove.

For exhaust header bolts, I've always just used blue loctite and along with lock washers. Are you guys using high-temp red loctite on these bolts or using blue with lock washers okay?

With my old 30cc my exhuast bolts kept falling out, so I did red Loctite with lock washers and it worked fine for me. I was still able to remove em but I'd heat em up a little before lossening em

I have always used a very small drop of red loktite on the exhaust bolts. Never stripped anything out and I don’t even have to heat to remove. Use sparingly. Holds bolts in nicely
