More of a knock in fullsize engines. I dunno what it would sound like in these.
 
If your worried about loose bits internally Im not sure I would. If something came loose you would know it right away. It would show obvious signs of damage somewhere. I cant picture a scenario where metal is bouncing around a running engine without major issues. You could always split the case and check if you want. Gaskets are cheap too.

That's what I'm thinking, a circlip coming loose and going through a port and falling down the case without hitting the crank or wedging itself in a bearing and not damaging anything is like a 1 in a million chance. When I jiggle the motor around in my hand I can't really hear anything flying about in the case. Splitting the case is an option, I'm not sure if I want to do that tho. Its good practice but it's alot of feking work

Well, it is a expensive engine. Might be worth it. You've already torn into it this far so ?‍♂️ or slap the head on and see if fresh gas and plug fixes it. If the engine fell apart OBR should warranty no?

Idk if they will . They say 90 day warranty but I haven't ran the engine till like 3 weeks ago. Head isn't off btw. It's still on

Well Z, if it makes you feel any better, my dbxl is running sweeeeet. The tune matched up perfectly to the atmospheric conditions, and she took off like a guy running from you? and heres the kicker, it will still work next time I fire it up.??

Now that I got that out of my system, did you dig in or what? Find anything?

Yeah I took it all apart (not the engine, the car, I am not taking the engine apart, if there's a internal problem it's going right back to obr) and nothing was loose or fekd up, regapped the coil ect.
