I have smaller sockets, but I was curious about wrenches. Or do you refer to them as spanners? heh. There are some things you can't get a socket on and I don't wanna use pliers and risk digging into the metal. Like on the rear shock support on the vekta. Has flat spots for a wrench. Maybe just a small adjustable would be best.

What is the smallest socket/wrench size I should have on hand for 1/5 scale? Most sets start at 6 or 8mm. Should I just get individuals of like 4mm or is 6 small enough?

Go all the way down. I used a 5mm on the throttle ball for the linkage today.

Yea my sockets go all the way down to 4. I think I'm just get a small adjustable wrench for the pieces I need an open end to get on.

And the are not good for tight spots coz they have a fat ring with all the gears ect in?

Most spots you cannot get the ratchet end where you need it. But when there is enough room your glad you got em.

I saw those, but they looked pretty cheap. Rounded corners on the box-end and such. Have you had any problems rounding of heads/nuts?

Yeah I thought they wouldn't be any good also but for nuts or bolts that small you don't need much torque. They do there purpose??

That's the smaller 3/4" drive set I've ever seen. I think mine only goes down to 1 ¹/²"

That's for sure 3/8" lol. He must be mistaken. Look at the size of the sockets compared to the size of the allen keys. No way that's a 3/4" drive.

lol. I think your little screwdriver on the left is 1/4" but that ratcheting drive in the middle is 3/8". I'll fite u.
