That's cause losi linkage is easy as pie to set up.
?don't think the baja linkage is that bad either.
mines still on the orginal one from 2014?

Connect the linkage to the carb and horn?? push the right side collet until it touches the throttle and tighten?? next push the left one right until it touches the spring and tighten?? job done??

Dunno if it was stated cus I didn't read the thread but your tuning should be done with the carb completely in the closed position.
Ok, so I had the same prob with my 36. You need to turn in the idle screw until it is just touching the hammer, leaving no room for it to move back. Then boom problem solved.

Wanna make sure I get this right turn in the idle screw so it's barely touching the hammer?

You set your idle with the idle screw, thus when your adjusting your linkage you have a positive stop to hit, your not relying on the radio or linkage to maintain idle.
