The tank doesn't need pressure, there is a fuel pump built into the carb, there should be no pressure to a slight vacuum on the fuel tank.

So what is the point of the tank vent then? I'm confused. Back when I first got into 1/5 I was having an issue with the tank on my Marder, was 19 so I can't really remember what it was. I do remember adding a vented cap fixed the issue.

Ahh crap, so much to figure out but soo damn cold! Fan blower went on the furnace here and it's fookin 52deg in the house!

Ok yes I think I was getting vapor lock way back then. The thing that had me thinking pressure was building is these leaks. Why would the cap and vent spit if no pressure?

Forgive the noobness, Id have this all worked out if I wasn't such a female dog with the cold. I've run the truck maybe 20min since I bought it back in November lol.

And it spit half a tank on my last 10min run.

Its just the duel sloshing around, look for a mix style vent, think john parks said about detroit performance having them at a decent price. Tbh I'm still running the stock set up on my 5ive. Not going to spring for the crappy snappy set up this go around.

Thanks guys I will order something up tomorrow. Today was a complete waste playing with this damn blower on the furnace. Bearings are seized up and tried lubing them to no avail.

Waiting on a new gas tank so decided to throw on some body clip keepers. Gonna be nice not loosing clips anymore lol. I still have to choose what color I wanna stick with. Stay with the all silver or go black or red? I have both.

Got my china adjustable wheel hubs installed. So far they ain't too bad. Threading is much tighter than the integy and km/rovan parts I have. The only thing I don't like is the adjustment sleeves are held in by a set screw.

All the inserts have a nice number engraving marking the toe degree. I bought these over the hostiles because of this metal sleeve. Never know if one day I won't be able to find hpi sleeves/inserts, these should hold up longer.

I don't think so but they come with alloy sleeves/inserts so idk why you would need to use plastic.
i’d stay with the original parts when they work. just need the solid bearing seats thats why i would use alu carriers.
stock plastic is 9,7 x 13,6 x 33,6mm
if you could just measure one alu insert, id appreciate ?

Just fitted the 845WP with FF brackets and it's not all that much modding that needs to be done.

With the ddm alloy horn in the third hole position it sits without modding really. The turnbuckle barely touches the shock support and when it does it just pivots. A tiny bit of sanding will eliminate that totally.

In order for the turnbuckle to fit the higher hole mounts some sanding/grinding of the top plate is needed. But really not much.
