Getting the shock protection cap thing and the brace was a challenge
Also found out that the brace i used only fits the upper shock holes(5b)
the other fits the lower holes (5t)

i never tend to use those hpi shock cap doodads, not when using any carbon braces anyways

I managed to change the chassis plate with everyth else installed (i forget the damn hinge pin clip) . it's not hard, just take all the bolts on the bottom out and slide the plate out.
I would assemble the rest of the rig ,and when the new plate comes, do the above. So less down time

Yeah that looks about right will need to do the trans plate and brake upgrade.......but I'll leave everything as is do the chassis plate first

Id have an mcd first spents parts are easily available here .....not sure all the quirks that you lot are having is for me.....nut I'd still get a vekta if the right deal came along

i fancied an mcd an all doug, quite a while ago i mean, but parts in uk wernt good at the time,
i know mike taylor now sells mcd plus spares so better here now ,
the vekta quirks aint too bad tbh doug, just a tad annoying
