Hello all,
I currently have an Arrma Mojave EXB, Traxxas Xmaxx, and a Losi DBXL-E 2.0. The DBXL-E is by far my favorite. I love it in stock form, and think it is just right. I am highly considering a 1/5 gasser for my next RC. I have never owned own before. At first I was thinking about the DBXL, but it doesn't seem to have been updated recently like the 5t 2.0. At this point I am thus considering the Losi 5t 2.0. Any thoughts or other trucks to consider? The DBXL-E 2.0 currently fits my driving style the best. I just like to have fun and drive as intended. I do not send them to the moon and make them flip end over end (That is what the Xmaxx is for). I currently get about 20 minutes of run time in the DBXL-E
 
Good luck find a dragon hammer and I wouldn't suggest a vekta for a first rig, they need a fair bit of upgrades and fixing before they are ready to go. Personally, I'd do the losi 5t 2 0, they are pretty much perfect out the box, just add a killswitch and radio.

Just stay away from Rovan and KM, they are cheaper for a very good reason.

To an extent. Yeah stay away if you want to have a good experience out of the box but if you have a few hundred for upgrades the bajas are good. I tend to try to get the rollers.

No dude no extent, don’t buy a clone period. If you want a Baja then you need to source parts individually and the majority will be aftermarket so better than a clone or even an original Baja.

Buy a clone you’ll be buying all the aftermarket parts anyways, because the clones are made of chicken nuggets if you’re lucky.

You can't compare what you were able to afford over someone else you don't know and if you can help it tell them to avoid your mistakes.
