But why? So you have really feked up gearing to deal with to run those dopey big monster truck tires? A body that doenst fit anymore? Really the masses have spoken the mtxl was a decent viable monster truck platform and it was discontinued because sales sucked. Now rovan came out with a half breed cluster feck and all you can say is some one needs to make parts that are better then the garbage so I can have a half arsed monster truck. Get a grip and go buy a used mtxl if you want a piss poor handling hunk of crap that has no support, instead of insisting other make more crap parts for a crap half breed.

I wasnt talking about making parts for the XLT. Please reread until it gets beaten in your brain. I SAID make parts for the actual LOSI to make it I to a monster truck. It wouldn't be hard to do considering we would only need a few small changes like shock towers, arms, turnbuckles, and shocks. The rest can be outsourced.

Here I'll make this all caps so it sinks into your small brain.
LOSI MADE A MONSTER TRUCK. IT WAS A PIECE OF poop. IT DIDNT SELL. WHY MAKE PARTS FOR A GOOD PLATFORM TO TURN IT INTO AN UNWANTED PIECE OF poop? oh wait I know CUZ IT WOULD NEED OVER HALF THE DRIVE TRAIN REPLACED TO MAKE IT HOLD UP TO YOUR BIG DUMB WHEELS AND TIRES.. go buy a fecking raminator. YOUR IDEA SUCKS.
Plain as day. Now you know how I feel. Done being nice.

Is that why the XLT selling out every time its in stock? I see people in my area buying those rovan monster wheels and slapping them on their crap wagons. The MTXL is literally sought after now more so then when it was being made. Idk where you have been living possibly under a rock?

Yep big old rock. Economics have spoken. Losi isnt selling the mtxl because it didn't sell. It seems you live in a fairy tail world where you give advice about rigs you don't own, and don't understand poop about why companies do the things they do. You'll do well with your new engine business. Ported clone engines to go in "sold out" (because everyone is buying them) garbage products. Let me know when you get sick of having rainbows and sunshine pounded up your arse from living on cloud 9 and hit planet earth again.

I give advice based upon what verified owners have told me. You are right MTXL did not sell well. I do however see people buying the XLT. I even got to use one last week. Why do you have such a stick up your ass about monster convertions? It's something different then what we are used to seeing which is a big old sea of similar builds.

Doesn't the parts that make this a monster truck fit on a losi? I would just buy a losi and get the minimum required XLT parts.
Why would u wanna put that 💩 on a good truck

also, mabe losi should go for a mtxl 2.0, but this time, base it off the 5ive platform. The mtxl sucked, no denying that, but mabe if they beef up the drive train and let that thing take big power it would be cool. There are so many great 5t parts, it would be cool to have an mt version, it has been done (with good parts) and the end result is beyond awesome. Mabe it time for a 5ive MT

Yeah man. Thanks, I tried this out with a Baja that was pretty successful. In this video I didnt have a powerful enough engine to turn the wheels and had fart can installed but it was still fun as feck.

I think I'll try my obr out next time I get a chance.

Ffs. Buy a rig and keep it as it was built...and to the person inquiring there's no such thing as reliable out of the box... the losi 5t 2.0 is damn near rock solid and the only issue I ran into was human error with not using loctite in a critical spot.... and seriously whats 100% reliable out of the box these days?
The Primal RC Raminator is not reliable out of the box? Because that's the only monster truck that I really like that's currently for sale.

Every platform has issues at some point. I had the first release of the gas version. The newer versions are a bit better. As cheap as they are, you can afford a few upgrades out of the box. Drive shafts are a wear item, the flm shafts are the best for longevity. Chassis brace is std in all platforms. In stock form most the parts will last a long time. I didn't have diff issues till I stuck a g320 in it. If you want reliable out of the box get a 5ive t and have at it.
I will say, if you expect a 1/5 to hold up to the stupid treatment of a smaller scale you will be sorely disappointed. 35lb + rigs at 40mph reals stuff fast when you start the tumbles and hard jumps.
What do you think of the Kraken Vekta 5. That thing looks badass with the solid rear axle and just the overall design.

As rep said seem most of us Have one now, they do need a good few bits out of the box. Not cheap items either. I just got mine to the point where is can be ran now. Still may have some issues to hammer out, but think I have my bases covered. It's 100% not a first or new to 1/5 scale rig. When they are done up right they are awesome rigs. I'm getting very anxious to be finished with mine. Really just have to finish set up, strap on a different filter set up, and finish the body. Feel free to check out my build and reps builds. His is pretty modest, I eventually want to go big bore with mine, so I tried to upgrade accordingly straight away.

Oh. Ok. Yeh, cool. I did read somewhere that they were quite the money pit. I actually saw one with over 7 thousand dollars put into it on YouTube. How would I go about checking out your build then?

It's over in the build log section.
No such section. I guess you mean the 1/5th Large Scale RC Models section. I read most of the Finally Got One thread and I've been watching Crucial RC's YouTube videos. I can't believe niz has had his since January and still hasn't ran it yet. Plus he's already spent more than the Raminator costs, but that truck looks friggin sweet though.
