I wouldn't get too upset. The OBR 34ss is an amazing engine. We don't even know how the 35 will perform. If anything hold onto the engine or sell it on one of the Facebook groups. Be patient and don't sell it for cheap.

My guess is a highly modded zenoah cylinder with taylor reed case of some sort.
