4wd Build

Was just going to take it out & get it dirty for an hr but the missus has nicked the batteries out of my controller for the kids toys :mad:.........I refuse to pay the extortionate prices for batteries in the site shop so will have to go into town later. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!
 
gutted mate i bet the grounds perfect as well after its just been under water would be wicked fun with the 4wd,but theres allways the fact its still clean and not broken

They are going back home at teatime so will have 4 days next week that should be good for it and the sun is supposed to be coming out :cool:
 
i cant wait to see your 4wd marbug go ive not seen a 4wd fg close up,and cant wait to see what extra grip and drive in a fg half the weight of mine can really do,,oh and how fast i can wheelie past you lol

The 4wd kit def adds a lot of weight to the front end so no wheelies for me. Hopefully my 27cc beast will deliver the goods! 0-10mph drag race to give me a chance!! Spoke to Stevo about a tuned engine for it & he reckons he can do me 1 for a decent price so that will be my future upgrade.
 
be interesting to see how much grunt the 4wd will take before it shites its self and wants to leave the car,,,im suprised mine hasnt given me trouble its all stock dog bones taking double the intended power and then some not bad for standard parts

According to Stevo & Richard Stiles they can take quite a bit of stick so a tuned engine would be good to go with stock parts. Yours is doing well on stock parts & Im surprised the extra torque hasnt corkscrewed the drive shafts!
 
i am mate and its also running wider rears with better tyres than fg stock ones and the hostiles dig in good ive had over 2 years from these dog bones and drive parts so im well happy but very suprised touch wood it stays that way

Started as soon as fuel got through and gave it a run out on the field for 5mins.

This build has the FG tuned pipe fitted rather than the x-can I had on the 2wd. 1 VERY noticeable thing is the noise level.........or lack of it :rolleyes: The x-can was loud and raw and sounded like a moto x bike and it screamed at full chat, a nice noise to my ears :D whereas the FG pipe is very quiet by comparison. Seems to give good power tho and its a smooth delivery so just need to get it run in & make sure everything is tight then give it a thrashing :D

I will bring my box of tricks & spare screws just in case anything falls off but looking forward to it. Looking at the weather I will be bringing my shorts as well!

Hopefully will be at yours for 3ish if that is ok with you.

thats fine for me mate gives me chance to charge it and fit the ecu back in,and fill the tank and fire it up,,ive got tons of tools and spares and screws
