Im going to the water line on the boat...possibly but haven't decided if I wanted to wrap the bottom yet and as for the seams it will be hidden under the rub rail

Id just go to water line with the wrap, nit like your gonna see what's in the water and the wrap may slow you down a bit (?)

Was thinking the same sean... I believe we talked about it awhile ago that you want a somewhat rough bottom to create turbulence so the boat doesn't stick to the water

Finished the final things to make the boat safe in the water, grounded the 2 coils, found purple pool noodles,hooked up the tach,wired in the killswitch and tidied up the wiring along the stringers., ready to give it a rip tomorrow!

Thanks @MonsterAir i wanted to have some congrast in the engine bay and had to make it myself unfortunately there really wasn't much of an aftermarket for marine plug wires

Do you have good clean grounds for the spark plug and all the ignition ground points? It may run now but might run into issues or no starts. Just something to keep in mind.

If it gives me an issue im prepared to ditch the dual coils for a single coil setup.

The only real failure issues are breaking up on top end or a total failure. But do not let that scare you. Just run it. There is no set life of any ignition coil system. Some last forever and other fail quickly.

what advantage does dual coil offer other then stronger spark, isnt one enough?
