better to use 2 servos as it's easier to adjust even if mechanical. and a lot less strain... I have to pull a servo apart today and change some wiring so they work together. it's rather easy to do. 4 wires need swapping... 2 on motor and 2 on the board.. I can do it with a 350w gun so it's easy hehe.

+ 1 on what BTB said, but here are a few pics of the set up I'm using. They is a home made one for my MCD and a Y-lead joining the hydros and throt/brake servo on my MT> I do have a couple laying around but havnt been arsed putting one on my MCD. I couldnt get a better shot as its minus six in my man cave and the bloody heatings off!

For starters, get shut of the 40 meg and get a 2.4Ghz.You may have a faulty battery or reciever.Brakes take seconds to adjust (have you used the small bit of pipe on the end?) Your rear wheel is spinning because your diff action is working properly, but an adjustable with 90% adjustment.......solved!

Heres that piece of pipe, bit of a poop pic though, its on my Beetle.

if you use a Y cable you swap both with servo reverse. to keep linkages all nice you really want servos that turn opposite directions. front brake servo horn can be close to steering servo. I had a lot of servos trying combinations out until Al showed me that (heyok). check his electrical tips out. he has some dx3 mods to slow battery drain and stuff too. he's like the btb of electronics ;)

Guys thanks for all your comments!!
So i guess that a third servo is required hmmmm more cost lol.

Well im gonna tune it this afternoon bottom and top end then make a decision on the braking then.. a friend of mine did away with his front brakes and upgraded the rear disc.
Soooo many options. i have to bare in mind i have spent £300 already on mods this month and i think the wife might go for custody of it at this rate lol

They make a reversing Y harness. Its an airplane part but is just the ticket for this app. IT has a small adjusting pot built in to the harness for centering. Another route is the Futaba 4Pk. You can mix the channels to slave/master whatever servo you need. It even has a Large Car mode built in to the program......my brakes/throttle operate with two seperate servos, the rear brakes/throttle operate on one, the servo travel value is 100% in both directions, the front brakes however, operate off a different servo, and the throw is adjustable to where when the throttle is applied, the front brake servo does not move at all, only when brakes are applied. You can also reverse these servos individually, while operating on the same channel! Same with the steering servos. I should be a Futaba salesman.......... or a porn star
