well i brought the TPS Central hydraulic braking system as seen here
https://www.largescaleforums.com/showthread.php?t=4967
it should be here soon, i brought this planning of using it with a lsd diff, but for some reason my lsd (locking diff) got lost on the way to australia, i got a refund, but for now funds are limmited due to me not wanting to work for a while, so ill try the TPS Central hydraulic braking system on a new fg alloy diff and see how its goes.
it still worked out cheaper then the alloy gear plate, and front cable brakes
i had other options
option 1
the cable brakes are $200 aud
the 7479 brake upgrade needed for the alloy gear plate $65 aud
the alloy gear plate $75 aud
total $340 aud not including shipping
option 2
and the tunning brake upgrade 8449 $60 aud
the 7479 brake upgrade needed for the alloy gear plate $65 aud
the alloy gear plate $75 aud
total $200 aud not including shipping
option 3
front hydros $285 aud
pluss i needed the alloy gear plate $75 aud
the 7479 brake upgrade needed for the alloy gear plate $65 aud
total $425 aud not including shipping
option 4
no brakes and use the stock plastic gear plate $free
option 5
TPS Central hydraulic braking system $240 aud
total $240 aud not including shipping
option 6
elcon diff brake $160 aud
elcon raised diff mount left $83 aud
elcon raised diff mount right $83 aud
elcon Connection Plate for Diff Brake $21 aud
pluss the alloy gear plate i need $75 aud
total not including shipping $422
option 4, option 5 and option 2 where the ones i like best and option 5 should work better, so i picked option 5 it was the second cheapest option and ment to be the more effective then option 2 and option 4 is not realy an option.
ill just have the see how it goes.
