You can't just extend an antenna wire. It's not just a piece of wire. It's a coax , a very fine coax at that. Nevermind.

It carries a radio frequency.. A material of suitable substance could surely be added on. I did connections on cell towers ? its the same principle but smaller

I actually think this coax length is a bit funny. I'm using a 6 channel reciever made for flight on my savage xl, and the antenna is all of 2 inches long. No range issues

The air rx was $35.00 and in stock at my lhs. The 4 channel was out of stock and $65.00. As long as its compatable and fits in the RX box. Why pay more? Works just fine with my 3pv.

I understand absolutely. Was on towers site the other day looking receivers...hmm this one cost more and is backordered. This is $15 cheaper and available now. Sounds like a deal to me

I had the savy running on my old 3pm. The reciever decided to give up the ghost on day. It's a FAAST platform so rx are stupid expensive for it. I already had my 3pv so I ran out to get a new rx for that. And i needed up with a 6 channel. And a now more or less useless to me 3pm tx.
