Did you oil the redneck filter?

Feel like the op left out a detail or two
And please elaborate...tell me what you think im not telling? I don't get off on lying nor do I care to.. its my engine I damaged and my mistake I did everything by the book. I had high hopes and expectations from this engine. Im not negligent and at the end of the day sh*t happens

Ok guys, thought I'd give a brief update. Rep sent me his engine so I could look it over and give my thoughts. My findings were note or less consistent with dirt ingestion what else I saw kinds surprised me. I didnt check port numbers as I didnt feel the need, however I did find something I thought I'd share. First the only ports that I can see were ported were the intake side transfers, and possibly the upper part of the exhaust widened. It also appears some work was done to the bottom of the cylinder next to the transfer ports. The machine work is nicely done, but the transfers were not chamfered. They are razor sharp. I was quite surprised by that, and the intake was left stock. Tried to get the best pics to show what I'm talking about. Not slamming them or anything, just thought you guys would like to know what some of these engine builders do to these engines. Cheers.

yea doug. Ill sound the alarm on this one. If you read the description it says the most powerful high reving engine on the market. Yea well I call BS because the esp 34cc with the race port whoops its ass. Now if RED ARROW put like esp did in the description modified for +2mm crank no porting or modified for +2 mm crank and race ported id understand and would of made a judgment call. Unfortunately detroit performance put a catchy description that sold me. I called 5 times and a left a voice mail its been 2 weeks with no reply. Sorry detroit but you lost my business. O yea thanks for not knocking the dust off this POS engine you sold me don't worry I have microfiber rags to do clean that dust off and again knock off flywheel, coil, fan cover and pullstart..for the price I figured he'd start with a whole zen engine and build from there. That bothers me i paied premium prices for a mixed engine
