I’m not sure I swapped the carb with the working one out of my w5 and had the same issue

Could be bad crankcase bearings or seals but I can't remember ever having that issue. What happened to Jim? Was that not a engine related issue?

Completely disassembled the carb, removed the insulator and cleaned everything out. It seems to have fixed the issue. May have had some build up in the jets or something

More likely a gasket issue imo, or diaphragm. Dirt in the carb is typically pretty evident, but you never know.

Finally fixed the problem and have a 100% ripping rr5. Turns out the whole in the skirt I drilled for the new pipe wasn’t centered correctly. The back pressure wasn’t allowed all the used oil and gas to escape causing the engine to run like a bag of poop. Cut a new hole and it’s ripping again
