Decided to put the new irc set in the 65?? stripped the rear end down to get the new dif in?? nothing quick about it?
Possibly the most annoying part of a baja build ....the RCR pad and disc lineup ????
Ran into an issue? the holes in the bone not tapped all the way through ? dose not fix the pin in place?. Got hold of Rob @ IRC quote from Rob??
"also for info with the new enclosed cup designs that you would have now
with the ring on, the grub is not really needed any more and we are
looking at not putting this into the fully enclosed from solid version
of cups will now be out in the next week or two. all current shafts are
compatible with these new cups just some folks had screws loosen from
prolong use and pins come loose so we switched to enclosed slotted cups
now properly . so on a warranty replacement later on if you ever need to
make such a thing you may receive non tapped & Drilled shafts."
So now what ? run them without screws or wait for a new set?
