I actually did this instead only cost me 3 bucks for the pin had 2 L brackets in my garage I cut down and put together even drilled a whole for body clip for little extra bracing

Much easier taking the body off just the pin in front and 2 body clips in rear.

No couldn’t use them with the side pipe

Had my 65 out yesterday
And fek me it just gets better and better .....about 10 mins in this happened bell carrier bolt back out pushed the brakes closed pushed the pin in the brake mount onto the spur ......kinda end the fun looks like an easy fix lucky wasn't anything major
