Managed to squeeze a couple hours in after work??radio tray throttle linkage ?? tank and the killer bee ?? gear plate and brake mount ? still need to trim down the pinion and the only other thing so far im not happy with is ......rekon the linkage will rub on the crankcase need to tweek it a little more??

Got my end points and linkage set ?
Got the header on air filter and pipe next??
Got to remember to get the obr stickers off the chassis??

Well the front the chamber mounts don't line up for ??‍ taken ages to get the right combo of hardware ? not totally stoked but not much I can do ........ and it will work??

Looks like you have the mount flipped the wrong way, and are missing a vibration damper for in between the pipe and mount.

The rubber mounts are under the stainless L bracket ?? and unfortunately the sx5 cage mounts bolt up in the same spot? and if I flip the left one the cage won't mount up ?‍ so........ its gonna have to be like it is?‍ what should of happened us SAMBA who made the pipe should have welded the left to the right and right to left?‍

did you tell mike taylor about the fitment issue with the v2 case doug ?
ya probably did, but he may appreciate feedback so he can correct his model for machining etc

Didn't say a thing ....yet? its definitely not a drop in and go?‍ lots of fiddlesticking around to get here?‍ but I guess its part and parcel ??‍

I'd expect a bit of modding to be had with bigbore. But that pipe mount and trans case feck up definitely needs to be addressed.

Ok so here is the answer ???
Had to flip these (cage mounts)

Added these ? as spacers (stock hpi bell carrier spacer thingy)

Here you can see cage and pipe mounts
All use the same hole in the chassis ??‍?‍



Its a tight fit? and probably not made for this cage? but dam it looks good?

Honestly those wheels really suit on the sx5 mate ??
