first came the Marder...then came the jap clones
Everone bitched about how cheap the firehammer and traveller was put together..... the plastic sucked...FG was better
well all those clones people bitched about years ago are still on the market and still part of the hobby
Not another Aussie trying to gang up on ya hellya. Let say both of them are made in China, but I'm sure one company's quality control is much better than the other
The RTR hpi baja5 leaves the factory after QC no diff oil in the diff...thats good QC? people have problems with the radio systems.....All models have their weak spots
Over here in the USA dealers get the onroad FS rolling chasis... upgrade them and sell them for $1200....that defeats the purpose
People can female dog and moan all they want ...years from now these clones will still be here, still part of the hobby and there will be people on these forums stating they like them and hate them
Try using some of your own logic there smellya.
So imagine what a KM costs to make then if they can sell them at half the price? The kinds of stores selling KM's and FS's over here are FAR from reputable and are only in it for the money, they are not providing a community service as you maybe thinking
Its OK morron man
The same manufacturing cost for the KM is about the same cost for the HPI or basic FG off road don't be fooled...
manufactured for $200-300,,,,, mass production = lowerprices for the manufacturer
I have yet purchase any vehicles from Aussy...I ordered my KM and FS from a US seller ....mabey you need a couple of reputable sellers in Aussy to carry FS KM and the spare parts...We need a couple in the USA:helpsmilie:
Atleast we have plenty of KM baja spare parts

The clones arent leaving the hobby.... so might as well embrace them and make them decent
