thanks chaps.

i like the look of the hot racing alloy rear trailing arms and upper links. might also change to metal hubs but not sure.

i still need to rebuild my tlr 5ive b ready for march so need to sort that out this week hopefully.

then i can get back to running a few more packs through the udr. (y)

There are lots of Alloy upgrades out for the truck now. It's got a good aftermarket already.

I'm not into the bling for mine, so I'll probably just go for the RPM stuff if and when mine breaks.

At least we'll be able to tell them apart if we end up running ours together lol....

Although I'm considering a custom paint scheme at the minute on a clear body

its good to see some aftermarket support starting to come through, part of what made me choose the udr over the sbr.

I am not one for bling but i do have a soft spot for black and carbon.lol

i too am already thinking of a custom build body to replicate one of the paint schemes that run in the stadium super truck series at the mo lol

what colour body are you thinking and will it be your own design or are you going for something scale also?

I'm looking at a couple of designs. One slightly more elaborate than the other. Both are to avoid buying new wheels. I'd love the fox body, but you kinda need a full set of tyres to go with it ?

This is the first one

Second one

I've always thought this scheme is pretty cool

Nice!

I like the top one it’s not as far from the original as the second photo so would go with your wheels.

I like these two similar schemes

I know someone who paints rc bodies and he has done a few for me in the past
I love watching this in oz.... They look amazing! Lol

Yeah I'm leaning towards the first one. The stickers are on ebay too. I was also thinking of matt finish too

i have never tried matt finishes on lexan. always wondered if it will just look shiny still as you are still looking through glossy lexan or am i being dumb? :ROFLMAO:

Yeah i might get some time.
Im helping my friend with his Escort Cosworth on Saturday morning but hes not seen it running, so i might take it over. He has a field not far from him.

Sunday is family day for me too lol.

Be good to head out at some point soon bud. We`ve not had a huge amount of rain down here so im wondering if the Canyons might be ok.

Im having so many issues with my FG engine, that i quite enjoy just chucking batteries in the UDR and switching it on. It just works lol

Escort cosworth! Nice?

I’m big into cars but I’m having a brake from fast expensive 1:1 cars for a couple of years before I buy something quick again lol
I’m now driving a Vw Passat estate? perfect for my rc stuff. Starting to save for my next 1:1 car tho ?

Yeah take the udr with you and make him want one ?

How do you get to Upton canyons? Is there a car park near by?

I know how you feel. Only recently got back into rc and all my cars are electric apart from my 5ive b?

Yeah it's pretty sweet. It was my wedding car. ?White Big turbo motorsport version. Doesn't come out much. The clock has gone so he wants do help getting it apart. I was doing car tuning and a little bit of wiring restoration at my last place so I'm used to taking stuff apart.

I was big into 1:1 cars. Less so now. Shame as my S3 doesn't really get the love it should. Rc are much easier and cheaper.... Most of the time lol.

My mate and I normally park on beechbank Road and then walk through the gate onto the trail. It's about a 10 min walk to the spot

Nothing too majorly wrong with the cosworth then.

Is your s3 the nogaro blue one i see on one of your mcd focus videos? Best colour ?

I’ve had many turbocharged Vauxhall’s over the years many modified. But sort of grown out of the modifying thing now into German cars and would rather just buy a fast one than mod one ? my next car will hopefully have a AMG badge on the back ?

Sorry gone off topic ?

Thanks for the directions I will look it up on google maps. Might take the dog for a walk and check it out soon ?

No its been kept pretty stock. Its a standard tidy low mileage one apart from a stg 1 chip and pipe, a set of wheels and uprated brakes.

My S3 is the closest car to standard I've owned. A map that we wrote for it at my last place, an uprated diverter valve and a modified airbox. I'd love a pipe for it at some point. My last car, an Mr2 Turbo was quite highly strung. Quick as but scary lol.

Its a good place to walk dogs bud. Go check it out. ? It's just off to the right of the track. If you have Google maps up as you're walking you'll be able to spot where to turn off

Tthanks. i shall look into it.

have you thought about doing a thread on your udr?

hoping to run my udr at the weekend some time so will be posting more photos soon (y)

Have fun mate. Let your mate have a go too ?

I like your painted plastics? I will have to do mine. What type of paint did you use?

Hell no. He had a go with my slash last time. Need a pair of rear tyres and a side nerf bar afterwards!! He only knows flat out mcrae style ?

I always use Tamiya paints. Brilliant quality. The way it dries with no brush strokes is amazing
