Stock plastics are my biggest gripe. Tbh the stock battery tray is just fine to me. I also build 3d helicopters so Im used to stuffing electronics in tight spaces.

@PortCityRC do you know if we can install the msd plug wire on the rcmax motors? Seems like the rcmax wire is longer.

I found a little better pic on rcmodelz, they look to be cut and tailored to the small bores, we can buy the MSD HD plug boots and custom cut our own wires to length, change color, heavier ga. etc.. I was looking at them on ddm dotd too..but I think their short, they don't offer much spec info on there parts

Ddm ones are definitely shorter. I bought same exact wires from ebay seller and it was much longer. No idea how long is the rcmax but maybe we can buy them directly from msd.

You can do it I think the part number is cr4 or cr6
