I put everything in the battery box , instead of the receiver box , receiver box would be a bit crowded I'm thinking ?
Just before going to work I noticed that the steering set up is off , I've adjusted servoes and steering before , but before I mess things up to much , here's how they have it ,is the angle of that servo arm right , it seems way off , maybe shorten the link to the saver ? Sure would like some input here before I mess it up ?also the tires are way off from straight , wow , don't expect that from a losi product , oh well

Yea thats right. Try to center the wheels the best you can with the linkage before you mess with trim settings... mine was way out also try and remind adjust the servo horn with the radio on and see if you can move it over a tooth if it helps..if not adjust the linkage and then set trim. My killswitch is also in the battery box I guess dynamite did good by putting a long lead on it

I think if its trimmed say at +/-20 I would want to believe you only have 80% travel left from center in the "trimmed" direction. I could be wrong

Can not say enuff about how much I appreciate the great wisdom ? and the will to help me , THANX! SOOOO ! MUCH ! REP 732 !!! THE grandkids got to here the roar of the 5t thanx to you ! Helping me get past the Killswitch nightmare , or just giving me a minute to find my glasses , ???? O M G !!!

O. K. , Thanks ! I haven't got the outer wears yet so I'm not going in the dirt without them , and also wanted to get a chassis skin on it too
The last time I went to the mud hole my vekta5 was allmost destroyed by mud , it took me hours to clean it, after cleaning , I took apart the filter and with the prefilter , the intake was wet , so I'm alot more carefully now , in fact I'm gunna fire up the Vekta today , make sure I still have a motor ?????

Funny how they don't mention the engine has to be pulled to put on crankcase outerwears , I've gotten to know my new machine pretty well , went through the back shocks , with help from rep, then I put the mad Max tired on the stock wheels ,then in stalled the evidently useless full force fuel line kit , installed the bartolone pipe I got off of this forum , sorry can't remember who , but thank you so much ! , Then installed killer bee Killswitch kit , outerwears on intake filter and pull start housing , I shoo gooed the inside of the body , that thing is tough stuff now , I believe I'm ready to start this thing up !! Oh ya ! I pulled the pullstart today for the first time and the motor,,,,,r engine would not spin at all , !! After further investigation , I discovered the pullstart was not ingaged properly , quick off on , and I'm back on track , think I'll break it in on a idle on the porch for a while , then go down to the park for some grass tearing
