Anyone running IRC 5t shocks on a dbxl?

Only because you couldn't get 4 front 5ive t shocks cheaper..... what 5ive t 2.0 chocks go for used is nuts. Irc is good shocks.

I’ve just had a set of big bore irc delivered today, thought it was a full set of front 5t shocks is a direct fit. But I don’t think they are I’ve contacted them and there sending out extra parts to make them fit

I got the grey colored ones.

I’ve just had a set of big bore irc delivered today, thought it was a full set of front 5t shocks is a direct fit. But I don’t think they are I’ve contacted them and there sending out extra parts to make them fit

Why on earth would you think that 5ive t shocks are a direct fit on a dbxl? There are numerous threads (which a Google search or a forum search would have reviled immediately) which detail this conversion.

I've just fitted one front IRC 5t shock to the front of my dbxl so far. Had to drill out a larger hole in the FID shock tower to accept the mounting hardware supplied with shocks. Hopefully I'll have some testing in this weekend.

Went of this thread as few people have used front 5t shocks. Also they must fit if he’s sending out the “extra” (don’t know what they consist of yet) to fit them.

The shock towers need modified, and all the mounting hardware for the 5ive t needs used as well as shimming the lower ball mount to take up the slack. Yes they are the same length, they do not mount the same.
