Team chrome..Glad ya had a good time...going to be 60* here this SAT..
and I am not ready yet...I can run the old 29cc engine for the day...
to get out.....I will end up selling the 29cc billet engine ..2 bolt ..Less complete clutch...Fly wheel..
fan cover..pull starter..coil...Engine mounts..What will be sold is...lower case complete..billet head kit top end complete with piston & ring..cylinder..head & gasket
still put together........Looking forward to running the marine engine....

Can tell where we are from calling it "pop". Couple states east and its soda, couple to the west and its soda pop, go south and its goda Coke? :lol:

I chose many years ago not to drink any beer or any thing else..
I can Just don't want to...Besides all extra monies go in to the hobby....
Like a savings account...If need to sell ...can sell the parts ..If need to eat bad enough...
Beer would be pissed away...really and nothing to show..for the monies spent...

Looks like the two boys have some right front end issues. Awe guess you'll have to put them away and order some parts. :clown: Only come back I had.:blush:

RPM make the front and rear arms for the Baja now.
My Baja has RPM arms it broke on the stock OLD style hub.
Josh broke his on the stock HPI lower arm at the ball joint.
RPM did the trick..
Luckly we have spare parts for this.
I now have the NEW beefy HPI hubs on front.
Josh will have the RPM sometime.
The Firehammer lost a bolt out of the bottom of the front hub.
This is the 4th time this has happend to me and, and the 4th hub Ive replaced.. I think I may go alloy fron hubs now.
Any thoughts on them??
Today is the last nice day we will have for about a week.

RN Pipe mounted on 29 Billet Head Engine

Teamchrome..for your firehammer go alloy front steering knuckles....
Looks like ya had fun any way...

Ok I got a couple e-mails about the RN Pipe from the vendor..asking if in stalled yet and ran
...Said no on the first e-mail back to him..due to bad weather....
This last e-mail was asked the same..so we talked on the phone....
I told him I was building up a marine head engine 4-bolt lower case...
He said mount the RN Pipe up to my 29 CC Billet Head engine..He has no report or input on this for the RN Pipe......As per conversation..the RN pipe I have is really designed for the 27.2 CC Race Ported....But said it it will be very good on the marine engine I am building........So after the phone call to day........Thought too my self..way not
go get the box and open it....Awsome pipe to look at..Excellect workmanship....
Ok now I check this all out lay it out and mount the exhaust stub pipe...
lay the pipe along side the roll cage...attach small bracket to cross member with the screw..now mount the rear bracket for the silencer..attach the stainless clamps
were needed to be.....The rear siliacone tube was split..so go to the nitro box..
find a new coupler that will work......Now time for the beetle body to fit.......
minor rub from exhaust...being fat monstor pipe......So now being ingenious I see I need about 1/2"or 10 mm's to have the beetle body clear the exhaust pipe....
Now where the stainless steel clamp is in the middle of the fat bulge ..there was a tail from the clamp...I looked it with the body on....To my rat box of items...searching..
digging ..looking..for what I think will work for a spacer...I came up with 1/2 "copper pipe
to make a sleeve....and a white do dad that holds the baja wing on......I sand away the white do-dad to fit the in side the copper pipe....Cut the copper pipe about 1 1/2"
Grind a taper on the stainless steel clamp ..and press fit it on there...Magic...I got clearence......Weather going to be nice here sunday....so hoping to get out....
Enclosed pictures.......This is a test run..not the maidain vogage of new engine...

Every thing looks real clean...
I am not to crazy the way the siliencer is mounted...
I need to get a couple of eblows and move it over to the right....
I have a wheelie bar ..I purchased form a guy from austraila Still waiting for it to arrive
that was 10 days ago......Slawhammer
