Definitely wont. The ONLY reason why I bought a KM was to be able to purchase one woth one lower lump sum and slowly upgrade the whole thing. I enjoy the hobby, and as it is expensive, I still find it interesting the differences between models. And its always a learning experience. With the way aftermarket parts are now a days most these nice machines are frankenrides as it is lol. I mean basicly all of these models need a good engine swap, and then its drivetrain and hold on lol. Oh and a few keypoint braces/parts lol.
So.. after removing the stock pipe I saw this... both gaskets and stock cooling plate are all, on all sides about 1millimeter to 2 small on all 4 sides. Hope this new ddm is more open. I don't have a scale to get a precise measurement. But I work tool and die and have a eye for it lol.

Oh and the header bolts were snug but not tight. And no locktight.

Mine is one of the first ones that came out ,I think that it has been 10 years ago ,but it came with the can muffler ,an
I had found that pipe on Ebay for 10 bucks ,it is actually from an HPI Baja!

I too just went the cheap way just to see what the big craze was about the 5 th scale was ,but was not impressed because
I am a heavy basher with my nitro's ,an they are more resiliant to that type of enviroment!

Some of my stuff is made up of 10 different brands an even if you had the cheapest brand ,you will find yourself
replacing things with the hop-up brands!

But any way ,have fun with it!....(y)

I had a redcat xt 4x4 1/5 scale in the past. I didnt upgrade it much there wasnt the options really. I bought the high dollar hex adapters "at the time the only company who made them". I swapped those giant no foam wheels for some nice knobby buggy wheels, it was a night and day difference. This KM being a 2wheel drive is what I was after this time. Something lighter, faster, and more nimble. After this wave of parts come to make the KM Blade how I want. I'll mainly just be upgrading as I break. Intending on replacing with rpm or turtle racing or along those lines.

We were just told today we are locked down for 2 more weeks. I'm in michigan USA

These just arrived. Video will be uploaded in a cpl minutes. I got lucky the Dominator pipe is blemish less! Lol I don't see a spot or anything wrong with it.

Shes about ready to go. I fired it up sounds amazing. I'm going to head out to this big gravel parking lot and tune it in. Then fill her up,slap the cage on, and give her hell. Tonight once it's dark I'll put those ubers on a set of wheels.
I'll also install the new 6.6v life battery.

Sweet ,well ,if there wasn't no blemish on it ,then there soon will be!.....(y)(y)
