Definitely before my time but my nitro 4 tec, rustler, stampede, and associated t4 had them old ass crystal radios. Was an actual hazard having that poop on the 4tec ??@Z.hb71 whatchu know bout them ratchet radios? 80' stuff is vintage to you son

Pretty much, throttle was provided by a servo and resistor plate, non of this fancy ESC malarky, battery would go just low enough for servo not to respond and the Grasshopper would bugger off in the direction it was pointing until battery completely died. Those where the days.You had your grass hopper rigged up to an atari? @KevTrem
