Nice ? we can match. Im still not totally sold on that color though, i love what it looks like but im not sure I want a solid color and not a scheme of some sort

Didnt know if you knew for sure what the guy used for paint.

Go to home depot or lowes and get some thin lexan to practice on... you'll learn how to mask off real quick.?

Why not try metalic colour but green.....green purple black ?? will look sick plus no issue with two purples....??

Yeah but we're on the truck? Gunna look strange I think ? purple (some accents on the truck) , silver, black, an then green ?

Silver is fekin annoying lol. But pretty much all I can get for aftermarket parts. They aren't fun and do anything else but silver n maybe black ?

Ain't it hard settling on a color!. I can't fully make up my mind either- lol. Purple will be somewhere in it though,cause these freaking colored washers and screws add up quick.?

Think im gonna try my first paint job this winter. Got a few cans of OD green textured paint, kinda like rino liner. Hope it will help keep my bodies together. I constantly crack them. MTXL body is mostly zip strips now.

Can't air brush, but they have rattle cans too. They definitely has some more unique colors. Their candy purple backed with silver looks good.

Still undecided but I think I might go to spaz stix for my color instead

Ok so im thinking mostly purple and some candy blue together. Obviously there's no blue on my rig but I think it will look good regardless. So I put the blue I want and the purple I want together and they complement each other nicely

I'll draw up my design on the body later and post a pic. Whatcha think? Oh an Doug, sorry to dissapoint but there won't be any flames lol

Yeah, blue and purple are analogous colors (close to each other on a color wheel) so they should work really well. Can't wait to see your design!

me too im hyped question, anyone have a specific brand of masking tape that's good?

For rattle cans, and simple designs I just use the cheapo blue poop. For airbrush, I recommend frisket. It's a clear adhesive plastic that is easy to cut and won't allow any paint to infiltrate, making for razor sharp lines. It can also be molded around curves.

You can also use rubber cement if you want to try painting it on and cutting it while it's on the body.
